Footprint chart
A chart showing volume traded at each price inside a candle.
A footprint chart replaces a single candle with the distribution of volume inside it: how much was bought and sold at every price. It answers what a normal candle hides — whether a move up came from aggressive buying or simply from sellers stepping away. Footprint makes absorption, buy/sell imbalances and the points where initiative changes hands visible.
