Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data VVozny.com (“we”, “the Service”) collects when you use our platform and applications, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Who we are
VVozny.com is a social platform for traders: a community chat, market charts to follow, news, an economic-events calendar, reviews and live streams from Vyacheslav Vozny, trade ideas shared by other members, and a gamified rating system. You cannot trade, invest or place any orders on the platform — it is a place to communicate and follow markets and content, not a broker or exchange.
The Service is available on the web and as desktop and mobile applications. It is operated by Vyacheslav Vozny (an individual). For any privacy question or request, contact us through the in-app support (Telegram bot) or by email at support@vvozny.com.
We are the controller of your data: we decide what data to collect, why, and how long to keep it. For any privacy question or rights request: support@vvozny.com or the in-app support (Telegram bot). A postal address for legal correspondence is available on request at the same address.
2. What data we collect
Account data: when you sign in through an OAuth provider (Sign in with Apple, Google or Telegram) we receive your email and public profile fields such as name and avatar. With Sign in with Apple you may choose to hide your email: we then receive Apple's relay address and never see your real one. We do not receive or store your password.
Technical data: your IP address and an approximate country derived from it (GeoIP). We use these mainly to moderate the community — to block spammers and bots by IP in the chat — and for regional availability. We also collect basic device and browser information and your interface language.
Usage data: aggregated activity used to keep the Service secure and to improve it.
Content you create: chat messages, images you upload, trade ideas, votes, reactions and reviews.
Notifications: if you enable push notifications, the push subscription endpoint provided by your browser or device. In the mobile applications delivery is handled by Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google), which receives the device token without which the message cannot reach you.
Diagnostics: if the app or the site fails with an error, our monitoring provider Sentry receives a technical report — the error text, the screen, the app version, the device type and the OS version. Transmission of personal data in that report is deliberately switched off, and it is not linked to your account.
Advertising: we serve the ad placements on this site ourselves. There are no third-party ad networks on the website or in the VVozny Trader mobile app — the Google AdSense network is switched off and its code has been removed from the site. If we add a third-party ad network, we will update this Policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent up front.
Marking on chart screenshots: images you save from the Service carry an invisible technical mark with your account identifier and the time of saving. It exists solely to identify the source of a leak of closed material; it is not visible in normal viewing and is not read back.
Our own ad placements: some offers on the site are served by us directly, under an agreement with the advertiser. To keep an offer relevant we determine your country (from the edge geo header or your IP) and count impressions and clicks in our own statistics. No third-party advertising code is involved. If you dismiss a banner, that fact is stored in your browser so it is not shown again.
3. How we use your data
To sign you in and give you access to the Service; to display and moderate community content; to block spam, bots and abuse (including IP-based blocking in the chat) and to prevent ban evasion; to keep the Service secure and improve it; to send notifications you have enabled; and to comply with the law.
We do not use your data for automated trading or financial decisions — no trading happens on the platform.
4. Legal bases and applicable law
We process data to provide the Service (performance of our agreement with you), on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, anti-spam, moderation, product improvement) and on the basis of your consent where the law specifically requires it — that is, notifications.
The operator of the Service is located in Ukraine, so Ukrainian personal data protection law applies to the processing. The supervisory authority is the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.
The Service is not specifically directed at the European market: the interface exists only in Russian, Ukrainian and English, there are no paid plans or prices in euro, and no advertising is bought in EU countries. Nevertheless, if you are in the European Economic Area or Switzerland, we grant you the rights described below to the extent provided by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss revFADP.
If you are in Russia: the Service is not directed at users in the Russian Federation, is not promoted there and does not offer services priced in roubles. If you use it nonetheless, your data is processed under the law of the operator's country.
5. Sharing and third parties
We share data with the OAuth provider you choose to sign in with (Apple, Google or Telegram); with Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google), which delivers push notifications in the mobile applications; with our error monitoring provider Sentry, which receives technical crash reports; and with infrastructure and hosting providers that run the Service on our behalf.
We do not use a third-party ad network, so no outside party receives advertising data about you. If that changes — for example, we add an ad network or third-party analytics — we will update this Policy before any such transfer begins.
Our own and partner offers are served from our own servers, and we do not pass your data to the advertiser — they receive aggregate figures only (impressions and clicks by country and platform), with nothing about individual people. If you follow such a link yourself, that site's privacy policy applies from then on.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. The Service does not work without it, so it does not require separate consent.
There are no advertising cookies or similar technologies on the site: third-party ad code has been removed, and we serve our own ads from our own servers without using cookies for them. That is also why the site no longer shows an advertising-cookie consent banner.
You can manage cookies in your browser settings, where you can also clear the markers the site stores in your browser.
We count our own traffic statistics on our own servers and do not share them with third-party analytics services. They use no cookies and store nothing on your device: a daily visitor identifier is computed on the server and stops meaning anything the next day.
A «this banner was dismissed» marker is kept in your browser (localStorage) so that a dismissed offer does not reappear. It is not sent to us or to anyone else and is cleared together with the site data.
7. Data retention
We keep account data while the account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, content and uploaded files are deleted immediately (see «Account and data deletion» for details).
The IP address and country of your last sign-in are kept for 90 days and then cleared automatically. Expired bans are deleted 90 days after expiry; active ones remain while they are in force.
Events of our internal analytics are kept for no more than 90 days and are then deleted automatically.
General chat history rotates automatically: older messages and their images are deleted.
The record of your acceptance of the Terms and this Policy (which version, when, from which address) is kept while the account exists and for a reasonable period afterwards — it evidences the lawfulness of processing.
Database backups are kept for up to 14 days and are overwritten on rotation.
We do not keep data longer than needed for the purposes above or than the law requires.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a machine-readable copy (portability), and withdraw consent previously given — withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.
Much of this is available right in the interface: your profile is edited in account settings, and your account and related data are deleted there too.
Send other requests to support@vvozny.com from the email linked to your account, or through in-app support from the same Telegram account — otherwise we are not entitled to release the data. We respond within one month; in complex cases the law allows a further two months, and we will tell you if that applies. Requests are free of charge.
If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in Ukraine, the Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights; in the European Economic Area, the data protection authority where you live. We would appreciate hearing from you first — most matters are resolved faster directly.
9. Security
You store nothing sensitive on the Service. Your account exists only to give you access to the community and to let us moderate it (for example, block spammers). Sign-in is handled entirely by your OAuth provider — we never see or store your password, and we hold no financial or payment data.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and we apply access controls and abuse protection. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but there is very little sensitive data about you to protect in the first place.
If a data breach does occur and it is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify the supervisory authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and you without undue delay where the risk is high.
10. Age
The Service is not intended for minors. You must be at least 18 years old (and meet any higher age required in your country) to use it.
11. International transfers
Data is stored on servers in the United Kingdom (London) — a country the European Commission has recognised as providing an adequate level of data protection. The operator is located in Ukraine and works with the data from there. Some providers — push notification delivery, error monitoring, sign-in via Google, Apple or Telegram — may process data in other countries under their own safeguards. There is no European Commission adequacy decision for Ukraine; we state this plainly so that you have the full picture.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above, and where appropriate we will notify you in the Service.
13. Contact
Questions or requests: in-app support (Telegram bot) or support@vvozny.com. Operator: Vyacheslav Vozny (individual).
