Resistance is a level where advances have already stalled: a seller was there to meet demand. Like support it is a zone rather than a line. Every new reaction confirms it, while a decisive break flips its role — former resistance often holds price from above on the pullback. Touching a level is not a signal in itself; the reaction to it is.
