What you see for each event
Every event carries country and currency, importance (high, medium, low), release time with a countdown, the forecast, the previous value and — once published — the actual. What matters is not the number itself but how far it diverges from the forecast: the market has usually priced in what was expected, and it is the gap that moves price. Events filter by importance and country, so the list can be cut down to the ones that genuinely touch your instruments.
Reminders, so you do not get caught
You can set a reminder on an event, and it arrives in advance rather than at the moment of release, when reacting is already too late. The practical benefit is not trading the news but the opposite: knowing ten minutes ahead that data is due, and deciding whether to keep a position open and whether your stop is sitting where slippage will find it. Most news-related losses do not happen to people who traded the release — they happen to people who forgot about it.
Next to the chart, not in another tab
That is the only reason we built this ourselves instead of linking out: an event only means something alongside price. The calendar opens in the same panel as news, market breakdowns and chat, so switching between what is happening and how it looks on the chart never takes you off the page.
